why not try doing something novel…call Target and ASK…

That’s hard to say. I don’t think they would NOT advertise it ’cause that just means they’ll get less business. Anyway, the best chance of you getting a Wii is finding out from a shipping place kinda early and camping out overnight. Sometimes, with a stroke of luck you might see one in a store, if that’s the case buy it as fast as you can. Also, from what i’ve experieced, the stores either don’t know when they’re coming in, or they don’t like telling (i’ve no idea why)

Well I have no clue when target gets their stock in…but as for what I did….
I’m not sure if you live in a small or big city, but I live in a rather large one and went to a small, kinda country town, outside of my city and went to wal-mart there and bought two Wii’s. The smaller towns stock stays in a lot longer, obviously.

Your brother works there ask him to see if he can have one put aside.
Brenda
Yeah, have your brother put one aside.
If he’s not able to (for whatever reason; policy or whatnot), ask him when they get deliveries. Camp out the store if it’s an overnight truck, or stop in if it’s mid-day. Go to electronics and ask them for a Wii. Tell them you know they just got their truck in and you’d like for them to go check (this might have to be like an hour or so after they get the truck, because it takes a while to process everything).
Just repeat every time they get the truck, because eventually they’ll get systems.
At an extreme is on March 9th, for the release of SSBB. Target is guaranteed to have Wii systems on this day for the release of the game, and it may be that they’re holding back their supply for the game release. Just get their early (I’m thinking 5am?) and wait.
