Should I get a nintendo wii?

I’ll have about $450-$550 from work to buy a wii and some games but I don’t know if I should. I don’t even know what games to go with it other than Brawl. If I don’t get my Wii I’ll end up purchasing the Adobe Creative Suite Design Standard CS4 so I can finally upgrade. (Yes I know that’s over $1000 but I get student the discount.)
I’ll probably get the wii fit too since my parents just don’t have the time to go out and exercise plus it rains a lot here. It seems like it would be great for some family time.

    The Wii is awesome for people who aren’t normally into video games. It’s also great for parties and such, but you always have to worry about drunks possibly throwing controllers. Either way, as long as there’s someone else playing there with you, it’s a ton of fun.

    But for playing by yourself, the Wii isn’t as fun.

    I know nothing about the Adobe program, but if you need it for schoolwork and eventually graduating, you might seriously consider that also :P

    I got my kids a Wii for Christmas. It is a lot of fun. I know it sounds crazy but I work up a sweat playing the Wii Sports. Of course I’m one of those idiots that goes all out and swings as if I’m swinging a real tennis racket (you really only have to move the controller a little bit)

    The Wii is very cool because the whole time your moving around unlike other consoles that you just move your fingers. SO BUY THE WII!!!
